Job Description
Architect and operationalize behavioral science ecosystem of SOUL -from psychometric assessment systems and leadership diagnostics to experiential labs, coaching frameworks, and long-term developmental journeys for India’s emerging political and public leaders.
- Program Design & Experiential Labs: Develop evidence-based behavioural interventions embedded within leadership programs of SOUL . Design experiential laboratories for emotional intelligence, ethical judgment, decision-making under uncertainty and conflict navigation. Integrate contemporary behavioural science research into adult learning frameworks. Contribute to institutional standards and program architecture.
- Assessment Architecture: Design and deploy comprehensive behavioral assessment systems-psychometrics, structured observation, simulations, and 360-degree feedback-woven into a single, coherent diagnostic framework. Produce in-depth behavioural profiles and individualized leadership development pathways. Ensure ethical integrity, scientific validity, and cultural relevance of every assessment practice.
- Facilitation, Mentorship & Coaching: Lead high-level behavioural interventions and reflective learning sessions. Curate and co-create cases, simulations, dialogues, and experiential activities that connect leadership theory with the lived realities of public life in India. Guide long-term behavioural development journeys. Mentor participants individually and in groups, hold spaces for reflection and feedback, and take ownership for consistently high program quality, learning outcomes, and participant experience.
- Continuous Innovation & Knowledge Creation: Develop proprietary behavioural frameworks tailored to public leadership contexts. Shape how behavioural science brings leadership programs to life-from assessment design to vibrant participant communities. Collaborate with facilitators, program curators, and field practitioners to weave behavioural insights into every program. Build intellectual capital in behavioural leadership science.
Background expected
- 10+ years of experience in behavioural assessment, leadership development, or applied psychological practice.
- Demonstrated capacity to design and deliver structured learning and developmental programs.
- Training and certification in multiple psychometric assessment frameworks will be an added advantage.
- Experience in publishing, visible applied projects, facilitation design, and cross-cultural developmental work will be an added advantage.
- An advanced degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Organizational Psychology, or related disciplines. A research background and experience would be an added asset.

- Ability to zoom-out to see the institution-level picture, and zoom-in to sit with one participant’s behavioural pattern until it makes sense.
- Ability to be at ease, working with diverse groups of people, energy, and occasional chaos without losing calm. Collaboration, ownership, and mutual respect are non-negotiable.
- Ability to learn fast, ask sharp questions, and being transparent.
- Care about inner growth as much as outer success — reflection, feedback, and hard conversations.
- Depth, discipline, and consistency in how human behavior is understood, assessed, and nurtured in the institute.
- Problem solving ability.
- The work will stretch you. Some days will feel magical. Some will be messy. Both are part of the deal.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
