Role Overview

The Executive – Digital Media & Brand Management will support the day-to-day execution of our digital and communication efforts. The role is hands-on: creating content, scheduling posts, coordinating event communication, and ensuring brand consistency across channels. It is ideal for an early-career professional who wants to grow into a strategic communications role while working closely with a Manager/lead.

Brand Implementation

  • Apply brand guidelines of SOUL to social media creatives, event collaterals, and basic design templates.
  • Support campaign rollouts by coordinating content, creatives, and timelines.
  • Help maintain an organized library of brand assets and media.

Website Content and Updates

  • Update website content regularly (program pages, news, blogs, event highlights, resources) in coordination with the Manager.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment of website copy with brand and current programs.
  • Coordinate with technical/web support when minor layout or functionality changes are needed.

Content Creation and Coordination

  • Draft and edit copy for social media posts, emails, basic website updates, and newsletters.
  • Coordinate with designers, videographers, or external vendors for content production.
  • Assist in scripting, storyboarding, or basic editing for short videos and reels.

Event Communication Support

  • Support communication for SOUL events: invites, social posts, and on-ground coverage.
  • Coordinate photography, videography, and live updates during events.
  • Compile event highlights and content for post-event platforms.

Social Media Management

  • Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn,FB YouTube, etc.).
  • Generate videos testimonials and publish on specified platforms.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments where appropriate, and flag key insights.
  • Track basic analytics (reach, engagement, growth),prepare indepth periodic reports and share.

Partnership and Outreach Support

  • Maintain databases of media contacts, influencers, and collaborators.
  • Support outreach for coverage, guest features, and content partnerships.
  • Assist in preparing briefs, follow-up mails, and simple performance reports.

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital media, social media management, or communication.
  • Strong writing and editing skills; comfort working with visual content and basic design tools (e.g., Canva and video editing tools).
  • Experience in optimising social media platforms and basic analytics dashboards.
  • Organised, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a mission-driven environment.
  • Interest in leadership, politics, public policy, or development sectors is a plus.
