Job Description
- Program Design & Development: To design and develop short-term leadership programs in the education sector for policy makers (ministers, secretaries etc.), public officials at implementation and institutional roles such as Vice Chancellors, State Project Directors, SCERT Directors, DIET Principals, etc. Create learning architectures that blend theory, experiential learning, case studies, and action planning. Build assessment frameworks to measure program impact, participant outcomes, and policy implementation effectiveness.
- Program Delivery & Facilitation: Deliver sessions to diverse audiences and create meaningful engagements through dynamic facilitation, storytelling, and interactive methodologies. Hold space for senior leaders to engage in deep reflection, peer learning, and strategic thinking. Create psychologically safe learning environments that encourage authentic sharing, and collaborative problem-solving. Co-facilitate programs with subject matter experts from IIMs, IITs, premier institutions, and government leadership in service as well as retired. Analyse program data — pre/post assessments, participant feedback, impact metrics — to continuously improve program quality.
- Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Design and implement strategic dialogues and forums that engage Education Ministers, Education Secretaries, Vice Chancellors, and other senior and institutional leaders on innovation, technology, relevance, feasibility to strengthen implementation of NEP 2020.
- Continuous Innovation & Knowledge Creation: Develop proprietary education leadership frameworks tailored to public education context of India. Collect and publish impactful case studies, success stories, and tech-first initiatives. Stay current on NEP 2020 implementation, Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) in education, and ed-tech innovations.
Background expected
- 10+ years of experience in education planning, education program development, instructional design, teacher training, or educational leadership. PAB experience will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated capacity to design and deliver professional development programs for educators, education leaders, or senior government officials.
- Proven experience working with government education systems, policy implementation, or education reform initiatives, particularly with institutions such as the Ministry of Education (MOE), UGC, NCERT, SCERT, DIET, Samagra Shiksha etc.
- In-depth understanding of NEP 2020, NCF 2023, their recommendations and implementation strategies. Direct experience with state-level education policy implementation is a strong advantage.
- Advanced degree in Education, Public Policy, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field. A research background and experience will be an added asset.
- Experience in publishing, visible applied projects, facilitation design, coaching and familiarity with technology-based education platforms (such as DIKSHA and iGOT) will be an added advantage.
- Experience in published research, thought leadership, facilitation certifications, coaching credentials.

- Ability to zoom-out to see the institution-level picture, and zoom-in to sit with one participant’s behavioural pattern until it makes sense.

- Ability to learn fast, ask sharp questions, and being transparent.
- Care about inner growth as much as outer success — reflection, feedback, and hard conversations.
- Depth, discipline, and consistency in how human behavior is understood, assessed, and nurtured in the institute.
- Problem solving ability.

- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
